Via Washington Examiner:
National Public Radio is giving its reporters assigned to covering Donald Trump’s presidential campaign the same training they receive before being sent into war zones.
The training that NPR’s political reporters received is typically reserved for persons preparing to respond to “riots, mortar attacks, kidnappings or firefights,” the Washington Post reported.
The move comes as Trump continues to lead anti-media chants at campaign rallies. The decision by NPR to give its staff special training also comes after several reporters, including a former Breitbart employee, have alleged they were manhandled by Trump’s campaign aides.
