“Moderate” Syrian rebel group Division 13 (best known for their use of American-made TOW missiles) has been driven into Turkey by al-Qaeda JV team, al-Nusra Front.

Via AMN:

One week after capturing the Free Syrian Army’s Division 13 headquarters and their storage depots inside the city of Ma’arat Al-Nu’man in the Idlib Governorate, the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra” has agreed to release the rebel prisoners in their possession.

Despite the release of these prisoners, the Free Syrian Army’s Division 13 no longer has a presence inside of Ma’arat Al-Nu’man – all of their fighters and commanders are now in Turkey.

Since the capture Division 13’s headquarters 10 days ago, Jabhat Al-Nusra has been facing scrutiny among the local population, who are unhappy about the Al-Qaeda group’s treatment of their rebel allies.
