Q: Would you put more troops in to fight ISIS?
Cruz: we have to do everything to defeat them, not based on politics but based on what our military says. We need to increase our air power and arm the Kurds more. Obama ROE are stopping the military.

Q: Trump, you said Islam hates us. did you mean all 1.6 million?
Trump: A lot of them. There’s something going on. I stick with what I said.
Rubio: Presidents just can’t say anything. But it’s getting around world that ‘America hates Muslims’. Muslims have served in military.
Trump: we’ve had a lot of consequences, including planes flying into WTC. Women are treated horribly. There is hatred. We better solve the problem before it’s too late.
Rubio: I’m not interested in being politically correct, I’m interested in being correct. Yes, there are people willing to fly planes into buildings but we are going to have work with Muslims to help defeat the radicals, even as Islam faces a serious problem within itself.

Q: Trump, how are you looking to change Republican party?
Trump: all of these people are coming in (because of me). But we’ve had horrible approach to trade deals by politicians.
Q: Cruz, what do you think is wrong with TRump’s view?
Cruz: massive tariffs previously led to great depression. Prices go up, because tariff is a tax on you. A much better solution would be my tax plan, which would not result in reciprocal tariffs. If your wages have been stagnant, how is that going to help you?

Q: Social security
Rubio: Make changes for younger folks like myself.
Trump: leave it as is. Clean up fraud and waste.
Q: do the numbers add up?
Rubio: No, they don’t. Cleaning up fraud is not enough. You still have to make up hundreds of millions of dollars in deficit to clear up.
Cruz: It’s careening toward insolvency, and anyone not taking it on isn’t leading. For younger workers we need to gradually raise the retirement age. And that a portion of your accounts in private accounts that you can pass on to your kids. I specified the programs I would eliminate. I took on ethanol in Iowa.
Trump: Ted did change his view.
Cruz: If you’re fed up with Washington, you should vote for people who have taken it on.
Trump: Ted was in favor of amnesty. Arpaio and Sessions endorsed me. WE’re going to find solutions to things and I can’t believe how civil it’s been.

Q: Education, common core.
Trump: Common core is education by the federal government. Ben Carson who is endorsing me is going to help with education.
Cruz: I would direct that common core end the day I get in. Obama has employed executive power to force states to accept common core. I intend to abolish D of Ed to send power back to the states and expand school choice, and give every child access to a quality education.

Q: Rubio, Disney used H1B Visa workers.
Rubio: Disney was abusing workers. They are insourcing and outsourcing. It’s illegal to use program now to bar American workers.
Kasich: Immigration brings youth, vibrancy to this country. But we have to have borders. If they haven’t committed a crime, they should get a path to legalization, not citizenship.
Trump: I’ve used H1B and I shouldn’t be allowed to use it, because it’s very bad for American workers. Disney workers endorsed me. We need to take a long look.
Cruz: right now bringing in far too many low skilled workers [H2B], which is hurting American workers. We’re going to cut off federal funds for any city that defies immigration law [big cheer from crowd]. We need leadership that works for the working men and women of this country.
Rubio: Need to focus more on letting in skilled not unskilled, because not enough jobs for Americans.

Q: Kasich, you’ve been strong advocate of trade deals, but they’ve cost jobs, how do you explain this?
Kasich: We want to have free trade but fair trade.
Q: Trump, your businesses have employed foreign workers. How can you argue you will change this?
Trump: Because I know H1b, I understand it.
Rubio: I support free trade deals that are good for US. We can compete against anyone in world.
Q: Cruz, Why should voters who don’t like these deals think you would be for them?
Cruz: I opposed TPP. We’re driving jobs overseas. Service industry will also be losing out with latest Obama deal.
