A fight over a pair of new Nike Air Jordan 2 Retro “Wing It” shoes ended with gunfire at a suburban Minneapolis Foot Locker, wounding two people during the Saturday morning sale.

The shoes — worth about $200 — went on sale Saturday, sparking multiple disturbances throughout Minneapolis and Madison as people hoping to score a pair of Michael Jordan’s new line of sneakers found there wasn’t enough to go around.

Shoppers darted for cover as witnesses outside Foot Locker heard least six shots ring out. Those bullets struck two victims. Both of those injured are expected to survive, authorities said.
