Start off the day with a Sunday smile.

It’s been an eventful past few days for a U.S. army veteran in West Columbia.
Two months ago 53-year-old Ronald Johnson was able to reconnect with his son and daughter through Facebook after losing contact with them for 23 years.
This week his daughter Kelly Johnson arrived in the Carolinas to reunite face to face with her father.
“It’s a miracle…it really is a miracle,” Ronald Johnson said, “I can’t believe that this has happened.”
Johnson said his daughter was only eight years old the last time he saw her face to face. In the early 1990s Johnson claims his ex-wife took Kelly and her brother to Germany and effectively broke off contact with him. Over two decades Johnson says he hired a private investigator and looked into several ways to get back in touch with his children.
In January it was Kelly Johnson who succeeded in tracking her father down after sending him a message through Facebook. The message contained a picture of Ronald taken during his military service.
