Ben Carson suspended his campaign for the GOP Presidential nomination Wednesday afternoon, bringing his outsider bid for the GOP Presidential nomination to an end.
Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, briefly surpassed now front-runner Donald Trump in Nationals polls over the summer, but rumors of a concession speech began circulating after poor showings in New Hampshire and South Carolina.
After South Carolina’s primary, delivered an address that he called a “just-the-beginning,” speech, not a concession.
