Wisconsin police say a man who called in a bomb threat to a county sheriff’s office apparently referenced “getting justice” for Steven Avery – the subject of Making a Murderer, the Netflix docuseries, PEOPLE confirms.

A male caller phoned in the threat to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office headquarters at about 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday, warning a dispatcher that there were “bombs in the building,” referring to the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, according to a statement from the Manitowoc Police Department obtained by PEOPLE.

“The caller went on to say that there was a vehicle located in the parking lot that was also ‘packed with explosives,’ ” police said in the statement.

Police say the caller referenced “getting justice for Steven,” referring to Avery. Avery is currently serving life in prison for the murder of Teresa Halbach, a crime he has steadfastly denied committing.
