The largest Tea Party group in American, the Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund, has finally announced which candidate they are endorsing for president.
The group announced today that they are throwing their support behind Republican senator Ted Cruz.
Chairman Jenny Beth Martin praised Cruz in a press release today:
“We seek a candidate who shares our values: personal freedom, economic freedom, and a debt-free future. On behalf of Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund and our supporters, I am proud to announce our endorsement for president of the United States: Senator Ted Cruz!”
