H: I spent a lot of time being outraged by what’s happening in Flint. Majority african American. Gov didn’t care [Obama’s EPA knew about it and did nothing]. If white kids would have not happened. I sent a rep there and released statement.
B: Gov should resign [should the city of Flint and EPA people also resign or only Rep. gov]. We need to get rid of super pacs, and citizens united [question was to say what you haven’t said, you said this before, you old fool.]

B: I have avoided attacking Sec Clinton to concentrate on issues. I’m going to debate on the issues, not Bill Clinton’s personal behavior [Just gives her another pass. It isn’t just about his ‘personal behavior’, it’s about if he’s a rapist, given that hIllary just said she will be sending him out as a ‘goodwill ambassador’. It’s about her role in attacking the women and covering up]

Lone Wolves

Privacy vs. security

B: I voted agt Patriot Act. But not only govt we have to be concerned about but also companies info that they can get on you.

Russia reset button. Since then Russia’s down a lot of bad things.
H: It would depend on what we got for it. WE got new START treaty, we got Russia to sign onto our sanctions against Iran [which you just blew down the toilet now, getting nothing promised for it]
Q: What’s your relationship with Putin?
H: it’s interesting. It’s one of respect. It’s one you have to continue to stand up too, because he’s one who will take what he can unless you do [but that’s exactly what he’s done under you and ‘flexible’ Obama]

H: I have a three point plan which doesn’t include troops on ground [anyone who says this doesn’t understand that you never should say this with military and remove options]
B: I think Obama is doing the right thing. The nightmare is to get involved in perpetual warfare in places like Eye-raq. WE should learn from Abdullah, this is a war for the soul of Islam and that Muslim troops should be on the ground [gee maybe that explains why Obama basically blew Abdullah off when he visited last week]
M: we need a more proactive strategy. I appreciate we don’t use Republican term boots on ground [that is Obama’s term, he promised no ‘boots on the ground’ and put men, (without boots?) in harms’s way anyway]
B: there isn’t enough thought about what happens after the invasion. You have a lot of wealthy countries that have to start putting some skin in the game. [lol, Bernie gonna make foreign rich people pay too! In a pig’s eye they will…]

Diplomatic relations with Iran? Obama says it’s a good day
B: we should move to normalize relations. [ah yeah, because hating women and killing gay people is such a great asset. And it’s Ir-an not Eye-ran] We should do what we did with Cuba [yup forgiving murderers and communists]
H: We’ve had one good day in 36 years and we have to make sure that they are actually going to implement the agreement [we already know that they haven’t and they already broke missile agreement]

Climate change. Fighting human caused climate change like flooding in south Carolina [how was that caused by humans?]
B: temp in Vermont at Christmas was 65. Everyone understands, debate is over. [‘science is settled’ and yet it isn’t, and this is bull shit] Trump thinks it’s hoax invented by the Chinese [no, it’s invented by you leftists]
M: We actually believe in science [if you did, you would know if doesn’t back up your nonsense, how are those polar ice caps which Gore said shouldn’t exist now?]

How would you pay for what you want?
B: I want to rebuild infrastructure. We do away with loophole that allows people to stash money in Caymans.
I want to lower debt for student’s, I want Wall Street o help middle class, I have documented how I will pay for this.
H: I have documented everything. I will not raise taxes on the middle class, I will make wealthy pay for child care, paid family leave, and debt free college.
Q: your plan would raise taxes on middle class as well.
B: we are doing away with private health insurance premiums. That family would be paying more taxes but less in healthcare costs. [Oh bs remember Vermont!]
M: tax earnings on capital gains at same rate as other income [thus killing investment and sending economy into another down spin]

How would you differ from Clinton?
B: I don’t take speaking fees from Goldman Sachs [berrnnnnn against Hillary!] Too powerful need to break them up.
H: we agree that no one or bank should be too big to fail or jail. Obama led our country out of great recession
[some kind of disruption] I’m going to defend Obama for taking on Dodd-Frank.
B: how can you reform when you receive huge amounts from Wall Street.
H: Your profusion of comments about Obama are strange given what you said about him. I have a plan..
M: that’s not true. What Sec said is not true. You bring up Obama here [before CBC institute]
H: You got money from Wall Street.
M: I didn’t get any for this election [Hillary did]

Importance of younger voters.
H: [My eyes started to glaze over here, what did she say?]

Sanders how will you win calling yourself a democratic socialist?
B: Super Pacs, bla bla [does he every say anything other than bash the wealthy?]
M: WE can’t have single issue campaigns just about rich people [lol, not feeling the Bern]

How will you bring people together?
H: I will go anywhere to talk to anyone to bring folks together [like calling Republicans the enemy you are the most proud of having made?]

Sanders favors medicare for all. H, is it really fair to say Bernie wants to kill Obamacare.
H: I’m absolutely for universal healthcare. The details really matter. We looked at details of B’s healthcare plan and questions, and so now he’s come out with a new one. I don’t want to throw out what we have already achieved.
B: H didn’t answer your question. That’s nonsense. What medicare for all does, is provide healthcare as a right for every man, woman and child. But we still have 29 million who don’t have it [including people thrown out by Obamacare]
H: We already have ACA, one of the greatest achievements of Democratic party and Obama. Tearing it up is the wrong direction.
B: What Sec failed to note many still underinsured and have huge deductibles [that’s true, one of reasons ACA is a failure].
Q: Vermont walked away from this because of costs. So why should we do it?
B: We have a campaign system which is corrupt and pharm co which is corrupt [what does that have to do with this?]
H: we have driven individual costs down to lowest in 50 years [bullshit alert]

Black men being gunned down.
H: It’s heartbreaking and it is a reality [throwing down against police]. 1 in 3 blacks going to jail that do not lead to same results for white men.
B: Whenever anyone is killed by police it should trigger a DOJ investigation [sorry that isn’t the way the law works] We have to move toward community policing, we have to make the police depts look like the communities [they do, you idiot! NYC, Baltimore, etc are heavily minority]
H: We have to move away from treating drugs as a crime. [you are insane]
B: We need to stop these drug companies [so drug companies are selling street heroin? Delusional…]

Guns. Sanders, you just changed your position on guns as regards immunity for gun companies.
B: I have supported background checks from beginning for criminals and mentally ill. I support closing gun show loopholes [which don’t exist]. We have seen a horrible tragedy in this city.
Q: Why did you change?
B: [not really answering]
H: He has voted with gun lobby, he voted for Charleston loophole. He voted to let guns on Amtrak. [she is scared of the Bern]
M: I’m the only one who has been consistent. We did pass comprehensive gun safety in Baltimore [notice how they aren’t using term ‘gun control]

Obama came to office hoping to swing big for healthcare. How would you complete the following, “My top 3 priorities are___”
B: Healthcare as right. 15 as minimum wage. End decline of middle class. Wealthy have to pay fare share. Govt has to work for all of us.
H: present to congress my plans for jobs, equal pay for women’s work, support O’care and improve upon it. And working every way I knew to bring the country together. [hahahaha]
M: Raising 15 minimum wage. Climate change, lead us to clean energy grid by 2050. New agenda for america’s cities, haven’t had one since Jimmy Carter [how’d that work?]

Opening Statements
H: Thanks for having this on eve of MLK day. I remember how MLK helped set me on path to service, we have to get the incomes rising for everyone including those who have been left out. I understand this is the hardest job in the world and I hope to earn your support to become the next president of the United States.
B: As we remember MLK, we have to pursue his dreams. We have billionaires buying elections, this is about a political revolution to transform this country [cue the communism, haven’t we been ‘transformed’ enough?]
