ISIS may want to rethink that threat.

The FBI is investigating a series of threats against Tim Kennedy, a former Special Forces soldier who now competes as a mixed martial artist in the UFC.
Kennedy, a Bronze Star recipient who served in the 7th Special Forces Group and is now a sergeant first class with the Texas National Guard, said he was contacted by the FBI about threats made against him on social media, Army Times reported.
“Just spoke with the FBI regarding some recent credible threats towards me by #ISIS They were not overly thrilled with my response… “Let those cowards come,” Kennedy wrote on his Facebook page.
Kennedy is currently ranked seventh in UFC middleweight standings.
He told Army Times he often receives threats, mostly from those who target high-profile military figures. Some of these threats, however, were credible, according to the FBI.
“They said, ‘Are you aware of this stuff?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ They said, ‘We think this is somewhat credible,'” Kennedy said. “Then I said, ‘I’m kind of desensitized to this stuff, so maybe you should tell me what my level of alarm should be.'”
Kennedy remains undaunted by the threats.
“They can send whoever they want, as long as they don’t want them back,” he said. “The pathetic/sad part is that they would never go after me. They prefer unarmed women, children, and journalists.”
