He did what (shakes fist in air)?!
Via Truth Revolt:
Wisconsin assemblyman Scott Allen has come under heavy fire from the anti-Christian left for daring to give an overtly religious Christmas message using “taxpayer resources,” with some accusing the Republican lawmaker of forcing his religion on the public.
On the eve of Christmas, Allen used the Wisconsin state studio and email to produce a Christmas message that he sent to his constituents. In the video, Allen delivered the following statement of good will that apparently unsettled leftist sensibilities:
To me and my fellow Christians, celebrating the birth of our Savior, our Emmanuel, well, it is one of the most important celebrations of the year. For those who may watch this who are not Christians, I invite you to consider the hope offered by the Prince of Peace.
Allen also had the audacity to include quotes from the New and Old Testament, while asking his constituents to be more loving towards each other this holiday season. How dare he!
Both the American Jewish Committee (AJC) and Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) have issued complaints, declaring that Allen crossed a line by giving such an overtly religious message on the public’s dime.
