Hillary Clinton suggested she’s open to closing the doors of a lot of public schools.

At a campaign rally yesterday in Keota, Iowa, she complimented the local school district – ‘this school district, and these schools throughout Iowa, are doing a better than average job,’ she said.
Before noting the fate of schools on the naughty list.

‘Now, I wouldn’t keep any school open that wasn’t doing a better than average job,’ the Democratic frontrunner said.

Clinton, who’s supported by public teachers unions, didn’t say what metric she would use to determine ‘average’ and what would happen to the teachers and students of those schools, instead speaking to the Iowa crowd in broad terms.
