Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz fired back at The Washington Post Wednesday, turning to Twitter to publish a political cartoon of his own.

The image featured Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton walking her “lapdogs,” The New York Times and the Post.

“Seems like a better idea for a cartoon: Hillary and her lapdogs,” the Texas senator wrote to his more than half-a-million followers.

Cruz’s cartoon came just one day after the Post was forced to retract a cartoon which depicted his daughters as monkeys. Cruz had responded by telling the Post to “stick w/attacking me–Caroline & Catherine are out of your league.”
