Final Statements:
Sanders: We have a lot more to offer than right wing extremists. My father came from Poland without a nickel in his pocket. My mother’s dream was to get out of rent controlled apartment. She never did. But she did send her sons to college. Hillary: If next president is a Republican, we know what will happen a lot of rights won over year will be at risk. Social security may face privatization. Our vets may see privatization. Planned Parenthood may be defunded. This is a watershed election [you got that right] I know how important it is to have Dem in White House [no, it is vitally important that never occurs]. Is it time to change the role of President’s spouse? [this seems the softball of the evening]
Hillary; [yada yada yada] my own husband, I’m still going to pick the flowers but I would turn to him for special missions, advice, and getting economy going, which he knows a little bit about.
Sanders: thanks to Hillary for ‘redefining role of First Lady [how many people did the Clintons take out, literally, on their way to the top?]
O’Malley: would be up to my wife. Katie O’Malley will be in charge of what she wants to be in charge of.

Raddatz: Libya haven for jihadists, U.S. didn’t fill leadership vacuum. How much responsibility do you bear?
Hillary: I recommended that we provide support to civilians on ground which led to fall of Gaddafi, and moderates came to power.[no they didn’t, there’s no one in any real power, and ISIS is growing more because of you. Not to mention you leaving our folks there to die]. [ooh Grandma isn’t happy!] We went after shoulder fired missiles [so you could ship them to ‘moderates’ in Syria]
[translation: I did everything right but the Libyans didn’t let us do everything we could have done and that’s why it failed].
Sanders: not a fan for regime change.
O’Malley: we have to stop contributing to creating of vacuums to allow ISIS to use. Now being used in Libya.

Black lives matter vs. police, how would you breach the divide?
Hillary: We have systemic racism in our justice system and we have to reform it, and we have to find ways to bring law enforcement together with communities with whom they lost. Young officer who lost his life in Planned Parnethood shootings [what did that have to do with race? Or is it just you wanted to say ‘Planned Parenthood’ shootings?]
O’Malley: there is no issue I have worked on more. We brought people together [wait what? Murder capital of the world Baltimore? That worked? He’s proud of that? ]
Sanders: we have more people in jail then any other country on earth, predominantly black and Hispanic. We need to end institutional racism. Police officers should not be shooting unarmed people, predominately African Americans [how many lies going on here? Most people shot by police are white, unarmed doesn’t mean not a threat or not attacking.] We need to make police septs to look like community. [they do in every major urban area. It hasn’t made a difference in reduction of crime.]
[More black/hispanic incarcerated is consistent with more committing crimes per percentage of population, not a proof of racism].

How to lower the costs for education? How is it not just shifting it to taxpayers?
Sanders: we need the best educated work force. Millions coming out deeply in debt. Speculation tax on corporations. All young people who have ability should be able to go. [no, it’s not appropriate for everyone, some people should go into other endeavors]
O’Malley: block grants. Tax on high volume trades. I was flattered Hillary borrowed so many of my proposals to put in her plan.
Hillary: States have been disinvesting from higher education. I don’t believe in free for everyone. I believe we should focus on poor kids with ability. I would focus on debt free. Sanders would result in 20 trillion dollars increase. We have to be really thoughtful about what we propose. No middle class tax raises, should be off table. [remember this for the future, it’s a sure breaker if she actually won]. Same as President Obama made [and has really broken]
Sanders: When Hillary says she wouldn’t raise on middle class, she’s against progressives. [he would raise obviously]
O’Malley: I did pass more progressive income tax [damn he taxed the rain!] Tax capital gains as regular income [screw you, it’s already taxed once, you fool, take your hands out of my pocket].

Cost of Obamacare has gone up 27% faster than many can manage
Hillary: we have ended pre-existing condition problem [that wasn’t an issue for people with employer insurance, it was already solved before Obamacare, so lie] We don’t have enough competition or oversight.
M: Glitches, that’s just glitches? with the great increase?
Hillary: costs up in some cases because governors wouldn’t extend medicaid [lie, that’s not why]
M: Sanders, know you are calling for single payer healthcare.
Sanders: still many who have no healthcare. Should guarantee to all people as a right. WE spend almost 3 times per capita than U.K and we still don’t have for everyone, and they have better outcomes [you may want to ask U.K. folks about that]
M: you didn’t say how much people would have to pay.
Sanders: the average middle class would be saving [didn’t Obama say that?]

M: Are CEOs going to like you, Sanders?
Sanders: CEOs ain’t going to like me and Wall Street even less. I don’t want corporate donations for Wall Street. The greed of Wall Street and the billionaire class is destroying this economy and the economy for Americans.
O’malley: the more fully people engage the more people will spend. These is a better way forward then what has been offered by other two. Wouldn’t solve it with socialism or talking about crony capitalism and 9/11 like Hillary. [ooh burn] Need modern day Glass Steagll.

Household slow increase in income
Sanders: rigged economy. Are we better off than when Bush left office? Absolutely[not]. Billlionaires are going to pay more[topp 10 percent pay most of the taxes]. Women should not be only getting 79% of man [disproven stat]. Tax on wall street speculation to pay for colleges to be free.
O’Malley: we invested for minorities and families and invested [spent] more on education. [how’s that working in Baltimore?] will make universal service as option for youth.
M: how do give raise if you’re President [that’s not up to a president to jack or control an economy, even if they could]
Hillary: you wouldn’t hear any of this from Republicans [because it doesn’t help economy]. Pass paycheck fairness act, women [same false stat as Sanders]. This is the kind of debate we need to take to Republicans in the fall.
M: Should corporate America love Hillary?
Hillary: Everyone should. Millionaires should have to pay 30%. I want to reign in the power. But I want to create jobs, my dad was a small businessman.

Assad, Syria
Sanders: we have to get our foreign policy right. It’s not Assad attacking us, it’s ISIS. WE need broad coalition, but first priority is ISIS.
O’Malley: can I offer a different generation’s view? We need to leave cold war behind us, and we had always looked at who was wearing communist’s jersey [with good reason and we still have a lot to fear from present day communists and Russia. ]
Hillary: I advocated arming the moderate opposition so we wouldn’t be where we are now [you mean arming ISIS like you did with those Benghazi weapons shipments? How’d that work?]

Would you shoot down Russian or Syrian aircraft if have no fly zone?
Hillary: I don’t think it would come to that.
M: but shouldn’t you consider that? [good point]

Sanders: Sec is too aggressive with regime change, Gaddafi and created vacuum for ISIS. Get rid of Assad would create more vacuum for ISIS. We have to be more considered more slowly to democratic govts
Hillary: well you voted for regime change in getting rid of Gaddafi. These are all very difficult issues. Libyans are moving to have unified nation. [hahahaha, yeah sure, which militias are in charge today?]

What is our intel community not doing that needs to be done?
O’Malley: we’ve seen countless failures, and we do our military a great disservice when we fail at this. We cannot allow them a safe haven in the area they have created in Iraq.

ISIS. Why or why not support troops to fight ISIS?
Sanders: I voted against Gulf War and Iraq War. Cannot be thought of as policeman of the world [no worries, Obama has already destroyed that thought anywhere in the world] This is a war for the soul of Islam [ooh thought it wasn’t? ]
M: Obama regime has tried this, hasn’t worked.
Sanders: I will make it work.
M: Hillary, you’re ruled out sending troops [which is on its face a bad move] but we already have forces on group, are you fooling people if you say we’re not?
Hillary: because of failures in region, inc govt by Maliki, there has been resurgence of Sunni, as exemplified by ISIS. ISIS wants American troops back [so let’s not do that and continue to let them expand and kill people including us]. I’ve formed coalitions with respect to Libya and Iran [how’d that work out?]. Trump would alienate these countries.

Refugees?
Hillary: toughest vetting possible [FBI et al also said it wasn’t possible to bette, so you can say this but it means absolutely nothing, there’s absolutely no requirement to take folks in, you can insure their safety by other means, such as by actually doing something about the ISIS threat]
O’Malley: We should have accepted 65,000, and we should accept more. He met with Chaldean Christian community

National security and personal privacy
Hillary: [blah blah blah yawn blah]
O’Malley: govt should have to get warrants. Muslim friend who was putting kid to bed who said, “What if Trump wins and we have to move out of our home?” [oh please]

What to say to Americans afraid to profile?
Sanders: what you have now is a dangerous moment. People are anxious. Trump comes along says hate Mexicans, hate Muslims, meanwhile the rich get richer. [rich Dems are the ones backing all the illegal aliens coming in, and apparently while it’s ok to hate rich people in Sanders world]

Muslim ban [45% Democrats also agree with this, if not told it’s related to Trump]
Hillary: Trump uses bluster and bigotry. We need to be united against the threats we face. We need to have everyone focused on reporting what they see [unless it’s a clock that looks like a bomb, eh Hillary]. We need to reach out to Muslims, we need to say you are our partners. ISIS is going to people showing videos of his bigotry to recruit.

Gun Control
Hillary: we have to look at terrorism and the role guns play in the violence that stalks us [guns walk and stalk us!]. Guns will not make us safer. It’s not appropriate response to terrorism. Making much deeper coalitions with Muslims will make us safer. I worry greatly that the rhetoric coming from Republicans will fan flames of radicalization. That there is some war of civilization that will fan the flames of radicalization.
Sanders: It’s people’s right to buy guns. We have to bring together in sensible gun safety regs, we should strengthen the instant background checks. We have to eliminate the gun show loophole [there is no such loophole] Weapons that are military don’t need to be in hands of people.
O’Malley: Hillary changes her position on this every election year. [hehehehe]
M: Would you have confiscation?
O’Malley: No. We can address major issues in prospective way, that the other two have not been addressing.
Sanders and Hillary: Whoa Martin.
Hillary: Martin tell the truth.
Hillary: [has no idea what she is talking about. There is no loophole].

Terrorism
Hillary: Plan to go after ISIS, not contain them [dig at Barack Obama] Have to go after them in North Africa and beyond [you gave them the opening in Libya by helping take out Gaddafi, nice job Grandma!] I met with Muslims, not demonize them as Republicans have been doing, they will be our first line of defense.
O’Malley: last 15 years have been bad with supporting intel, toppling dictators without having any idea of what comes next [hit at Hillary]
Sander: our goal is to crush and destroy ISIS. I votes against war in Iraq because I thought it would lead to instability. We should recognize King Abdullah of Jordan who has taken in many and we should lead effort on ground [good point].

Controversy of last 24 hours, the data breach by Sanders team of Clinton data. Were staffers stealing Clinton playbook?
Sanders: DNC hires vendors. Our staff saw a breach, and told. Now last one, there was a breach and one of our staff looked at it. That was wronged and he was dealt with. But DNC shut off our own info, crippling our campaign. I look forward to an independent investigation because I don’t know that her campaign hasn’t breached us.
M: Is she owed an apology
Sanders: yes.
Hillary: I appreciate that. It is important that we go forward on this. There has been agreement on independent investigation as to what happened. [Anytime grandma wants to move on, you know she did something wrong]
O’Malley: [taking the Christie role] let’s move on

Hillary: President has to keep families safe and make economy grow. I have strategy to defeat ISIS without ground war. I have plan to raise incomes. [How are you going to do that?] We have to fight Republicans from repealing all the progress we have made. O’Malley: [where is this going?] We face a political danger when unscrupulous leaders try to turn us against each other. WE have to hold true to our values, we are a better country than this, we must not surrender them to billionaires with big mouths.
Sanders: I’m running for president because economy is rigged, I’m going to create an economy that works for other than billionaires [how you going to do that?]. I’m running because we have to take on climate change. I’m running because I want a new foreign policy, that doesn’t get us involved in perpetual warfare.
