Only one is enshrined in the Constitution, and it isn’t ‘respecting others’.

Dean is referencing this case where a lecturer and her faculty member husband have now left teaching at Yale, after they were hounded by Yale students for her questioning whether the school should be dictating what Halloween costumes students could wear.

But is a mob surrounding her husband (also a faculty member) and a protester screaming in his face ‘why the fuck are you here’ respectful? Is calling someone racist because they support free speech and leading attacks on her ‘respectful’?

Small wonder that she is stepping back from teaching, given the small minded attitudes of some at Yale.
