One of the things we heard during the scanner traffic during the San Bernardino attack on Wednesday was this piece of information that has missed being reported:

That means the LA police, for whatever reason, had contact with and ran information (checked him out) in the week prior to the attack, if the scanner report is accurate.

Why and for what? Whatever it was obviously didn’t turn up the arsenal.

But there has been speculation about whether there were other people involved and other targets planned. We know that they got guns from a neighbor, but we do not know if that neighbor was involved. The police have not termed him as suspect.

Why attempt to destroy your digital footprint as has been reported? Unless there are other people/things/connections that you don’t want the police to find. And that is incredibly important information to determine.
