Giuliani

Rudy Giuliani appeared on Neil Cavuto’s show on Fox today when the subject of Donald Trump’s comment about Muslim celebrations in the area after 9/11.

Giuliani said he had received numerous reports, he didn’t define when, from people that this had occurred, including the story of one person reporting the celebration of the Muslim cabdriver in the cab the person was in at the time. But perhaps even more significantly, he noted that there were police reports in NYC of the celebrations, that police responded, because some of those celebrating were attacked by others unhappy with the celebrating.

Giuliani also read a news report noting that there were celebrations in Paterson.

According to Newsmax, Bernard Kerik, was on CNN, where he told Carol Costello that there were some reports of people celebrating, as Giuliani said, in Brooklyn and Queens, and agreed there were reports from Paterson, N.J. and Jersey City as well. Kerik said there were different ‘pockets’ of people celebrating within the Arab community.

As a N.J. resident, I heard reports at the time and know multiple people who did in fact report celebrations in Jersey City and Paterson, including family members who saw such celebration in person.

In other words, while there may not have been ‘thousands’ in any one place in NYC or N.J. there were in fact celebrations that people saw in multiple locations.

Yes, some people want to attack Trump. But the effort to call people who saw this with their own eyes liars and to diminish this is just the latest in history revisionism. Beyond NYC and NJ, yes, there were Muslims celebrating in other areas in the world and that proof is on video. That doesn’t mean every Muslim thought that way. But to deny that many in fact did, is to beggar history.
