But it doesn’t appear that this administrator did anything at all to protect the students that the BLM harassed and assaulted or to take to task the BLM students doing the harassing. Indeed they actually apologized to the BLM.

The Dartmouth College administrator who attacked conservatives in the wake of a Black Lives Matter protest that harassed white students at the school’s library has issued a public apology, though only for part of what she said.

A week ago, Black Lives Matter protesters at Dartmouth grabbed national headlines when they paraded into the school’s Baker-Berry library. According to eyewitness accounts published at The Tab and The Dartmouth Review, the protest quickly grew out of hand, with activists harassing individual students and perhaps even berating one student as a “filthy white bitch.”

But in the wake of the protest, vice provost for student affairs Inge-Lise Ameer’s chief concern was apologizing to the protesters for hostile media coverage they received.

“There’s a whole conservative world out there that’s not being very nice,” Ameer said to the protesters at a Monday night meeting. She described the protest as a “wonderful, beautiful thing” and dismissed criticisms of it as “ridiculous,” even though the protesters’ behavior appears to violate Dartmouth’s own code of student conduct.

Now, after several days of very public backlash against the college, Ameer has admitted she went too far by publicly criticizing conservatives.
