The scene of this morning’s anti-terror raid where the mastermind of the Paris bombings was said to have been holed up is in a rundown suburb of the French capital which is a hotbed of fanaticism, MailOnline can reveal.
Armed police and special forces the apartment in the heart of Saint Denis in the early hours as they suspected the mastermind of the Paris attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, was inside.
Two suspects died including a woman with long blonde hair who blew herself up when police entered the house. A second man was shot during the dramatic raid. Seven were arrested.
