Authorities in a Philadelphia suburb have arrested a man who allegedly broke into an apartment and raped a 6-year-old girl.
Early on the morning of Nov. 9, the Hatfield Township Police Department responded to a 911 call from an 11-year-old boy saying a man broke into his family’s apartment and may have done “something” to his sister.
When police arrived, the suspect, Oscar Rivera Herrera, was being held at the scene by the child’s stepfather. The man is accused of breaking into the apartment and sexually assaulting the girl, who was sleeping on the top bunk of a bunk bed she shared with her brother.
