One of the ‘unarmed black men’ police murdered. Except, like most of the BLM cases, it’s a lie. There was video showing he had a knife and moved on the officers as you can see in the above picture.
ST. LOUIS • Two police officers had “reasonable” belief that Kajieme Powell posed a mortal threat when they shot him to death last year, Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce’s office said Tuesday in announcing they would not be charged with a crime.
Several relatives of Powell, who said he suffered from mental illness, emerged from a private meeting with Joyce and an assistant, Cynthia Copeland, saying they were disappointed but not surprised. Their lawyer, Jermaine Wooten, said there at least should have been manslaughter charges.
Said Mildred Powell, the dead man’s grandmother: “There’s so many cases that’s like Kajieme where guys have gotten killed. They said they were afraid for their lives. Are they just afraid of black people, is that it? I don’t understand … ”
Powell was black. The officers, both white, said he advanced at them with a knife.
