Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal aimed his fire at Democrats and Republicans equally in his speech to likely Iowa Republican caucusgoers at the Growth and Opportunity Party Saturday.

Jindal harshly critcized Republicans in Congress for failing to enact substantial change since taking over control of the Senate following last fall’s elections. The GOP has failed its constituents in allowing the Obama administration to strike an agreement with Iran on nuclear weapons and by failing to cut funding to Planned Parenthood, he said.

“I’m angrier at Republicans in D.C. than I am in the Democrats in D.C.,” Jindal shouted for one of his best applause lines.

One solution, he said, is term limits for members of Congress. He later referred to Republicans as the “surrender caucus” and suggested that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell should follow in former House Speaker John Boehner’s footsteps by resigning from office.
