As a result, she suffers injuries to her ribs, back, neck, shoulder; a broken arm, and abrasions to her face. The funds raised will be put towards medical costs, educational expenses, and any other expenses she has to endure.

A few problems. From a legal point of view, he hasn’t been found guilty of assault or ‘police brutality’, and he didn’t actually choke her. The police have also disputed the injuries as well, noting all she got was rug burn. So these attorneys put themselves at risk of a lawsuit for libel, and should know better, as lawyers.

Further, ‘just doing her math work’. Are they joking? The classmates and school have already clarified that she had been causing trouble in the class and had been asked to leave. She refused, that’s what led to the confrontation.

But she’s just a poor ‘victim’ attacked by a vicious racist cop.

Generally, Go Fund Me usually will invalidate any fund run for someone who has been charged with a crime. So theoretically, this should be against their rules.
