A gunman opened fire at a ZombieCon gathering in Florida Saturday night, leaving one person dead and and four others injured, authorities said.
The shooting sparked a chaotic scene that sent thousands of revelers dressed as zombies running from the large outdoor plaza in downtown Fort Myers where the event was taking place around 11:45 p.m., according to The News-Press.
Officials from the Fort Myers Police Department said the incident left one person dead while four others were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. No information about the victims was immediately available.
