President Barack Obama wouldn’t take sides in the presidential race today and gave no hints as to whether his No. 2, Joe Biden, would join the Democratic field.
‘I’m not going to comment on what Joe’s doing or not doing,’ Obama said during a Friday afternoon news conference. ‘I think you can direct those questions to my very able vice president.’
He also passed on opportunities to both praise and chastise his former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and admitted that even he channel surfed during Tuesday’s Democratic debate, which aired at the same time as the Major League Baseball playoffs.
