Via Al Arabiya:
An airstrike on a gathering of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) members in a town in western Iraq on Sunday killed several leaders but the group’s top man, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was not among them, Reuters reported hospital sources and residents as saying.
Iraq’s military said earlier that it had targeted a meeting of ISIS leaders and a convoy carrying Baghdadi to the gathering in two separate airstrikes.
Earlier, a military statement said the Iraqi airforce struck a convoy of Baghdadi in western Anbar province close to the Syrian border.
