A Senate candidate in Florida is coming under fire for participating in pagan rituals involving the slaughter of a goat and the drinking of its blood, according to local news reports.
Augustus Sol Invictus, who is running as a Libertarian in Florida, “killed a goat and drank its blood” two years ago as part of a pagan ritual that took place in the Mojave Desert, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Invictus, who stands accused of “brutally and sadistically” dismembering a goat, also has faced criticism for “trying to recruit neo-Nazis” into the Libertarian Party, according to the report.
