Wedding favors that looked like fake bombs and were marked “TNT” caused an evacuation at Denver International Airport last month, the Transportation Security Agency said Thursday.
The wedding souvenirs were found in a checked bag as they went through a security X-ray machine. The gifts were bottles of bath salts that were topped with red wax and a wick that resembled a fuse, TSA said in an Instagram post that included a picture of the bottles.
The names of the bride and groom both started with “T,” thus the letters “TNT” on the side of the bottles.
Bomb specialists were called in and officials evacuated the security area for 20 minutes so each bottle could be examined.
