Chicago, Obama’s home city, has some of the strictest gun laws in the country, yet between January 1 and October 2 there were 2326 shootings, with 50 just this past weekend.

Yes, the shootings in Chicago have become ‘routine’. But Obama never points to that in his anti-gun speeches, because to point to it, would be to have to explain why it is happening and actually address the hard issues of black on black crime and gangs.
