Is it tone deaf to hire a band named “Dagger Dagger” for an event celebrating abortion?

Apparently not to Planned Parenthood, whose Rocky Mountain affiliate hired the Colorado-based band to play at their Tuesday night party celebrating “women’s health and rights.” Those “rights,” of course, refer to abortion, a word often left out when describing what Planned Parenthood does.

Those same videos have also caught PP executives discussing how they alter abortion procedures (which is also illegal) to obtain intact issue for donation.

Of course, “Dagger Dagger” might be a poor name choice for a band performing for an organization whose supporters claim women will be forced to seek “back-alley abortions” — sometimes referred to as “coat hanger abortions” if any of Planned Parenthood’s clinics close. But their music seems decent.
