Donald’s struggles with the first amendment continue.
Via Mediaite:
Donald Trump’s lawyers sent a letter to a clothing company specializing in anti-Trump shirts, threatening legal action if they did not stop selling them.
StopTrump.us shared the cease-and-desist letter with Huffington Post. In the letter, Trump general counsel Alana Garten calls the shirts a trademark violation, and also accuses the website of engaging in “cyber-piracy” by registering their domain name.
“In short, Mr. Trump considers this to be a very serious matter, and has authorized our legal team to take all necessary and appropriate actions to bring an immediate halt to your blatant and unauthorized use of his trademark…” Gartan writes, threatening to “pursue all remedies available to us at law.”
