MELBOURNE, Fla. —The FBI is now involved in an investigation into racially motivated vandalism at a Melbourne church.

The incident is now being called a hate crime.

Vandals have struck twice at the same Melbourne church and have attacked two other churches in the area as well.

In one instance, the vandals wrote “Allah Akbar,” a Muslim expression for God is great. In another, they ran a church member’s truck into the water and sprayed references to the Charleston church shooting.
