Deceptive Debbie sent out this fun missive to Democrats:

It was quickly picked up by other Democratic operatives and some media(there not really being a difference between those two sometimes).

Others, like Buzzfeed’s Andrew Kaczinski pointed out the obvious, that the DNC would like to believe we are stupid. Well, of course, maybe some of the Democrats to whom she sent this out are indeed deluded by it, but not too many other people are.

The person holding the fundraiser is Harlan Crow, who has one of the largest private collections of historical memorabilia/art in the country, especially concentrating on American history.

Over the past 40 years, Crow has collected thousands of documents, manuscripts and works of art that span centuries. “Many people have their own hobbies and have vocations,” he said. “American history is mine.”

Among his favorites, Crow counts an Abraham Lincoln syllogism about the evils of slavery, a copy of Poor Richard’s Almanac and a letter written in 1493 by Christopher Columbus, after his first trip to the New World. The collection has paintings by Renoir and Monet and by Winston Churchill, Adolf Hitler and Dwight D. Eisenhower.

A sculpture garden includes likenesses of Churchill and Margaret Thatcher, the late British prime minister.

It also has busts of dictators, including Russian communist leader Vladimir Lenin, Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu and Yugoslav dictator Josip Broz Tito. Crow has said the collection is not intended as a celebration of repressive regimes but to preserve a part of world history.

As if that were not enough to put paid to the ridiculous DNC attack, Brent Scher at Free Beacon notes that Harlan Crow’s mother was almost killed by the Nazis when the ship she was sailing on the SS Athena was torpedoed off the British coast on September 3, 1939.

DNC really needs to get brought up short on this one for deliberate deception and misusing Yom Kippur. Since it’s Yom Kippur, Debbie should apologize for this incident to the public and to Marco Rubio.

RNC’s had a good response, basically this from the lady that just cut $150 billion to Iran.
