Hillary Clinton is set to collect nearly $300,000 in campaign contributions during a Wednesday evening fundraiser at a notorious Staten Island mansion built by the late mob boss Paul Castellano.
The sprawling home on Todt Hill — referred to as the “White House” by mobsters and the FBI during Castellano’s reign as boss of the Gambino crime family — has been owned since 2000 by Selim “Sal” Rusi, a Republican who said he’s hosting the event for his dad, who “worships” Clinton and hubby Bill for supporting ethnic Albanians during the late 1990s war in Kosovo.
