French police are hunting for an ISIS terrorist thought to be hiding among the thousands of British-bound migrants in Calais, it has been reported
The Islamic ‘Lone Wolf’ extremist is believed to be trying to sneak across the Channel to Britain to commit terrorist acts, Calais’s La Voix du Nord newspaper reported.
The jihadist left Syria in late August and travelled overland to northern France, police sources told the newspaper.
He is now hoping to sneak aboard a ferry or Channel Tunnel train to Britain, Calais officials believe.
The newspaper wrote today: “An Islamic State combattant believed to be in Calais is being actively hunted by the authorities.
