WASHINGTON — He’s beating her in New Hampshire and now Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is edging out Hillary Clinton 41 to 40 percent in a new Iowa poll, the latest evidence of Clinton’s sagging campaign.

In the GOP race, Donald Trump was continuing his surge, grabbing 32 percent in a new CNN/ORC poll — 13 percentage points ahead of second-place Ben Carson. Jeb Bush didn’t break double digits and was down to 9 percent.

The Iowa numbers in the Democratic contest are a sharp turnaround from July, when Clinton was beating Sanders 52 to 35 percent in the same Quinnipiac University poll, with Vice President Joe Biden at 7 percent.
