Two Orthodox Jewish men were verbally assaulted with life threatening statements in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn early Saturday morning, NYPD officials told JP.
The two men, ages 64 and 52, were walking at the intersection of 18th Avenue and East 2nd street at around 6:10am when they were approached by two Arab men, who yelled at them “We’ll kill you, Jews.”
One of the suspects held an unknown object in his hand as they followed the two men, before they managed to escape, police said.

The case was referred to the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force, who is now investigating the incident as a bias verbal assault, the officials said.
Detectives are also reviewing nearby surveillance video in an attempt to obtain clear photos of the two suspects.
