The Sinai Province of the Islamic State has threatened to kill a Croatian hostage, Tomislav Salopek, in Egypt within 48 hours, the SITE Intel Group, a jihadist watchdog organization, reported on Wednesday, citing a video released by the group.

In the video, an armed man wearing camoflauge and blocking his face demands the Egyptian government participate in a hostage exchange. Salopek would be exchanged for female Muslims the terrorist organization claims Egypt is keeping.
