The scandal involving Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email server while secretary of state has deepened, with at least one inspector general passing to the Justice Department evidence of potential mishandling of classified information, a referral that could lead to a criminal probe.
Clinton, the Democratic presidential front-runner, has been dogged by questions about her personal email use since it came to light in early March. She has denied sending classified information from her private account.
