Kids give tribute to their dads. Feel free to share the story of your dad…
Via NY Post:
Every year for Father’s Day, we ask children to tell us about the dads in their lives — and every year, the kids come through. Their writings remind us what these men do: inspire, support — or just be there. They also show us that you don’t have to be a biological father to make a difference.
“My uncle was deployed twice to Afghanistan and he called me every night to see how my day was,” writes 9-year-old Reese Donnelly about her uncle, Thomas Durkin. Reese and 60 other children from schools in Baldwin, LI, showered us with such stories, as did kids from all over New York and New Jersey.
Let their letters inspire you to thank the men who showed you the best of themselves — and who inspired you to reach for your dreams.
