It appears that Jeff Ordower is no longer the executive director for Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment, a five-year-old social justice organization that has coordinated several recent protests.
On Friday, Kennard Williams, a MORE spokesman, said that Derek Laney is now the executive director. Asked why Ordower was no longer in that post, Williams said: “No comment.”

Earlier in the week, Ordower said he was working for the organization but refused to say if he was still serving as executive director. “I’m not commenting on anything for the record or off the record on any questions you have about our organization, for which I work,” Ordower said.

MORE was formed after the regional chapter of ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) disbanded in 2010.
