I really don’t care what someone does in their personal life, but let’s be honest that all this is pretty much a promo for a new show.

We’ve all seen the incredible photos of Caitlyn Jenner‘s debut in Vanity Fair, but now we finally know how the Kardashian reality TV empire is going to be dealing with Jenner’s public transition. This morning, E! unveiled the first trailer for a new reality series called I Am Cait.
Based on the footage, it looks like Jenner’s reality show journey will have more in common with Transparent than Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The trailer shows Caitlyn sitting at a vanity table, putting on make up, musing about how she didn’t realize how much scrutiny women are under when it comes to their looks. She jokes, “I never had it until a couple weeks ago — actually, a professional come in and do my make up — what a difference!”
Later, we watch Caitlyn driving through the hills of California musing about how things are changing for her and the trans community at large: “Isn’t it great that maybe someday we’ll be normal? Just blend into society…” An off-camera friend corrects her and says, “We are normal. You are normal.” Jenner concedes, “Put it this way: I’m the new normal.”
