Hillary has been sequestered in the Scooby van.
Republican presidential contender Carly Fiorina said Saturday at the South Carolina Summit that she answered 200 questions last week while Democrat front-runner Hillary Clinton has answered only seven, a point Washington Post’s Kathleen Parker brought up as evidence of Fiorina’s legitimacy as a candidate.
“I think she acquitted herself very well with you. And she does that repeatedly. Every time I’ve seen her speak it’s been with great conviction,” Parker said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
Fiorina has cast herself as the Republican foil to Clinton, the ex-secretary of state, because Florin is the only announced female candidate in the GOP field.
Parker said she’s not saying Fiorina would win — she’s considered a long-shot candidate for the GOP nomination — but that her profile and effect on the White House contest would become more visible.
