Go Mr. Kemberis!
Via NYDN:
A 95-year-old World War II veteran showed off his fighting spirit when he bravely battered a robber away with his cane.
Arthur Kemberis had just taken cash out from a Walgreens ATM in Manchester, N.H., on Saturday morning when the attacker pounced, reports CBS.
The suspect tried to grab the nonagenarian’s wallet several times.
But Kemberis heroically fought him off — and struck him several times with his walking stick.
“He saw me coming up to strike him on the shoulders. I hit him three or four times,” the valiant victim told CBS.
“He wasn’t very aggressive, but I was,” he added.
Mr. Kemberis was picking up his wife’s prescription at the pharmacy when the man tried to rob him.
