The Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) recently issued a new rule cracking down on skinny jean wearers, according to the anti-ISIS Syrian activist group Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently (RBSS), a group that reports on atrocities committed by ISIS in Syria through informants in Raqqa.
According to the group’s reports from Raqqa, skinny jean wearers will be imprisoned for 10 days and forced to take an “Islamic course” during their time in prison. They will be required to take a test at the end of the 10 days, with those who pass being immediately released and those who fail being kept in prison until they pass.
“Freedom of expression has become a crime, so you can not oppose a decision issued by the group. Otherwise you will be arrested on charges of violation of God’s law as its fighters claim, but they are far from this law.”
