Two female roommates in Queens have been charged with planning to build a bomb that they wanted to detonate in the United States.

The roommates, Noelle Velentzas, 28, and Asia Siddiqui, 31, both United States citizens, were named in a complaint unsealed on Thursday in Federal District Court in Brooklyn.

Ms. Siddiqui “is currently in possession of multiple propane gas tanks, as well as instructions for how to transform propane tanks into explosive devices,” the complaint reads.

The women appeared to be interested in jihad and had been communicating with Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula personnel. They also watched videos of ISIS beheadings, according to the complaint.

Update:

Of course, the cops in NYC had been assassinated by a twofer, a Black Lives Matter protester and radical Islamist, Ismaaiyl Brinsley.

A pair of wannabe terrorists considered bombing a police funeral after the massive turnout of 20,000 law enforcement mourners for an executed NYPD cop, authorities said Thursday.

Noelle Velentzas, 28, and Asia Siaddiqui, 31, both of Queens, were due in Brooklyn Federal Court for conspiring to detonate homemade bombs.

One of the pair’s potential bombing plots was inspired by the packed Queens sendoff for Officer Rafael Ramos, according to a federal criminal complaint.

Vice President Biden, Gov. Cuomo, Mayor de Blasio and NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton led the massive outpouring of mourners at the Dec. 27 funeral for the martyred cop.

Valentzas, after learning about the enormous gathering, “was trying to evaluate whether a police funeral was an appropriate terrorism target,” said the 20-page complaint against the pair.

The suspect, who espoused violent jihad against the U.S., felt the Boston Marathon bombers made a mistake by targeting innocent people, the complaint charged.

“It is better to go for the enemy,” Valentzas was quoted as saying.
