Jordan’s King Abdullah II said that the fight against ISIS is “a third World War.”
“This has to be unified,” Abdullah said on CNN yesterday. “I’ve said this to leaders both in the Islamic and Arab world and to the world in general: This is a third World War by other means. This brings Muslims, Christians, other religions together in this generational fight that all of us have to be in this together.”
Kennedy weighed in on “Outnumbered” today about Abdullah’s ISIS comments stating that she thinks the terrorist group “unfortunately could be the thing that really launches a third World War.”
“Well, I don’t think it is a third World War,” Kennedy said. “I think you know we’re getting ahead of ourselves. But I think the ramifications are so dire and so serious, that when people talk about a need for strategy and a need to really figure out what we’re doing over there…it is so incredibly important because we don’t want to get sucked into something like that.”
“We see with ISIS what human beings are capable of and there seems to be no end in future,” Kennedy added.
