Word of caution for Cameron: Don’t call Obama your “bro” unless you want to be labeled a racist.
Via Washington Times:
As President Obama hosts his “bro” David Cameron at the White House, the American leader on Friday explained why he uses the informal term when speaking to the British prime minister.
“Some explored the linguistic origins of the word ‘bro.’ Others debated its definition. Some analyzed how this term has evolved over time. Some seemed confused and asked, ‘What does Obama mean?’” the president said. “And so let me put this speculation to rest. Put simply, David is a great friend. He’s one of my closest and most trusted partners in the world.”
Mr. Cameron also described Mr. Obama as a close friend, but hinted that he doesn’t use the word “bro” when speaking to the U.S. president.
