Hmmm, a woman?

Via The Hill:

Former White House staffer Reggie Love says he and a female companion once got an unexpected campaign trail wake-up call — from then-Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.).

An excerpt from Love’s upcoming memoir, “Power Forward: My Presidential Education,” obtained by The Washington Post, Obama’s former personal aide describes a morning in 2007 when a college friend “ended up staying the night” at a hotel in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The next morning, the former Duke University basketball star says he and his lady friend received a rude awakening of sorts, when Obama walked into the room using a Secret Service master key.

“I remember the most peremptory of knocks, the sound of his voice talking even as he walked in,” 33-year-old Love writes, according to the paper.

“‘Hey, Reggie, we need to go over the schedule’ — at which point the senator finally noticed my friend in bed, covers pulled to her throat, mortified.”

“’Oh,’ he said. ‘I apologize.’ Then he turned around and hurried out,” recalls Love, who left the White House in 2011.
