Via ABC:
A Philadelphia police officer fired his weapon at a driver after being run over in Strawberry Mansion, a law enforcement source tells Action News.
The incident took place around 11:35 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of 32nd Street and Susquehanna Avenue.
Police say two 22nd police district officers pulled over a vehicle.
The source says the driver sped off, dragging one the officers and running over both of his legs.
The officer, according to the source, then fired his weapon at the suspect.
